Baba would touch them lovingly and return them with His blessings. On a Shree Rama Navami Day, a devotee named Regey bought a decca muslin silk shawl worth eighty five rupees, Wrapped in a small packet. If Baba has forgiven my sins and if He loves me, He should wear the shawl without returning it to me, he thought. He placed the packet secretly under the sack, on which Baba sits and quietly prostrated and got up. After sometime Baba got up and asked someone to clean the area and dust the sacks. As they were dusting, a packet was found Baba opened the packet and covered Himself with the shawl gracefully and said, Oh How beautiful this shawl is This shawl is nobodys but Mine. I will not give it to anyone. Regeys eyes were filled with tears of Joy. He said, Baba, You are omniscient. You are embodiment of Love. and fell at Babas Holy Feet. Narks parents were Babas devotees. He was educated abroad in Geology. As a result, he had no faith in God, Sadhus or Mahatamas. ON the insistence of his parents, he once visited Baba. On Seeing Baba being furious for no reason, he concluded that Bab was a mad fakir. When he went for the afternoon aarthi, Baba called him near and said, Child, I am not mad. Why will I get angry for no reason MY anger is blessings to my children. My mode of action is different. My method of protecting is different. So saying, Baba lovingly caressed him. He relented experiencing Babas love. He was surprised at Babas omniscience. He could not understand how Baba grasped his thoughts. Realizing Babas Omniscience and Omnipresent nature, He fell flat at Babas Holy Feet with utmost devotion. From that day he too became His devotee. He served Sai with Love and Devotion and obtained liberation. Babas devotees would send money orders to Baba in the name of Shyama They would send as much as they like. One day when Baba went out somewhere, a money order of Rupees 2 arrived in the name of Shyama the postman gave him two Rs. Coins and went his way. Seeing them Shyma got a nefarious idea of testing Lord Sais omniscience. He immediately hid them under the ground in front of the Masjid and did not informed Baba about it. Six months passesd. Baba, though omniscient, did not enquire about them. Shyma felt happy that he could veil Babas omniscience. One day thieves broke into Shyamas home and stole his property. This incident made Shyama very sad. He started to pity his plight and reveled his entire episode to Baba. Baba why did not You protect me when I was being robbed Baba said calmly, If thieves stole your property, You at least have ME to turn to and pour out your frustrations, but six months ago, thieves stole My two rupees. To whom shall I tell my difficulties Listening to Babs word Shyama became pale. He felt as if Baba struck his cheek. He could not veil Sais omniscience. ON the other hand, he faced the reaction of it. He said, Bab for the sake of mere two rupees, will You punish me so severely Baba said, Shyama, what two hundred rupees mean to you being a teacher is two rupees to Me being a beggar. Shyamas ignorance vanished. He realized his mistake, fell at Babas Holy Feet, and asked for forgiveness. What we do to others comes back to us in return. Good begets more good and bad begets more bad. Karma is very subtle. This is the meaning of this Leela. Above all that nothing we can hide from Sai. He is Omniscient and loving God who forgives our sins and takes us under His protection by teaching a lesson. Pradhan was initially a devotee of Shree Madhavanath Maharaj. Once, Maharaj asked Pradhan to have Babas darshan. Following his Gurus command he began his journey to Shirdi. As he was leaving, Shri Madhavanath Maharaj said, Please convey my salutations to Lord Sai. Pradhan s mind developed many doubts Why is my guru, being a Hindu sending me to Muslim fakir Why is he conveying his salutations to a Muslim fakir Finally, Pradhan reached Shirdi and sat with other devotees in the Masjid. Baba told the other devotees, Today Shri Madhvanath Maharajs son has come here. Today let us all relish his Prasad. Pradhan was shocked to hear this. Baba called him near and said, Today golden bags were sent to Me on a donkeys back. But the thieves stole them on the way. A goldsmith should be engaged in the job of piercing the ears only. Now a days it is difficult to live a pure life in this wicked world. Baba smiled and continued, To realize this alone he sent youto Me. Go and convey this to him. A skeptic person who is unable to realize the truth, is a donkey. The salutations of a Mahatama are the golden bags. The fact that salutations were not conveyed to Baba is compared to thieves doubts stealing those bags away. The Goldsmith should pierce the ears alone, convey that a person should only do the work allotted to him. A goldsmith alone can pierce the ears. Similarly, a wise man alone can dispel the ignorance. That is why Sri Madhvanath Maharaj send his devotee Pradhan to Lord Sai, who is wisdom incarnate can dispel ignorance. This was explained by Baba in a very subtle way. With the next sentence He meant that people, full of doubts, criticize God and great souls. With these words Pradhans doubts vanished. He realized Lord SAIs Omniscience and from onwards, he too became a devotee of Baba. All he members of Joshi except him, were devotees of Baba and visited Baba. All the members of the family told him about Baba and told him to pay a visit to HIM. He said, Only if Bab sends him prasad , before I go to Shirdi, will I believe His greatness and have faith in Him. At the same time in Shirdi, a person from Konkan came to see Baba and as was about to leave. Baba, giving him a packet of UDI said, As you journey in the train, give this Prasad to whoever comes to you and ask for place to sit. Do not forget this. He began his journey. The train crossed Kalayan and reached Thana and still no one turned up. The station where he had to alight was fast approaching. He was lost in thought about what he should do with the Udi Prasad. Just then, a person who was sweating profusely came to him hurriedly and said, Sir, please keep your child in your lap and give me some place to sit. The person from Konkan took a full breath and said, At last you have come. Please take this Prasad. Baba told me to give it to you. He told me to give it to the first person who asks me for a seat in the train. Joshis head reeled at this incident. He could visualize Babas power in front of his eyes. The seed of Faith in Baba was sown in his heart. He wholeheartedly offered salutations to Lord Sai, who was omniscient. Later he became a pure devotee of Baba.
