He was stung by a poisonous snake on his little toe. It pained a lot. All of his friends and relatives dreaded his (Censored). Shyama, too felt that he was bound to die. His friends and relatives wanted to take him to Lord Vittoba. Snakesbites were cured there. Realizing their plans, Shyama said, Do not take me anywhere. Baba is my Vittal. Baba is my everything. Kindly take me to my Baba. Even if I have to die, I will die in His proximity. That alone gives me happiness. His friends agreed and took him to the Masjid. Baba came in front of him furious, Oh vile priest, Do not climb up. Beware if you do so. Get down immediately. Beware if you do so go away. He roared. Seeing his God red with wrath, Shyama was greatly puzzled and squatted to a side with fear. Within few seconds Baba became calm. He lovingly came to Shyama, sat hear him, and fondled him. Shyama, Do not be afraid. This Fakir is full of mercy. He will surely protect you. Have faith in Me and be fearless. He said and sent Shyama along with few poeple. With Babas words pain subsided. LaterBaba called Thatya Patil and Kaka Saheb and said,Tell Shyama that I asked him to move about in the house without sitting in one place. Also tell him that there are no diet restrictions and that he should not sleep in the night. Tell him to follow these instructions. I shall take care of the rest. Tell him to be fearless. Needless to say these instructions were followed and Shyama became well in a short time. The inner significance of this Lela is The snake of philistinism stung the Jew a. Consequently, the poison of ignorance entered into Jeeves and caused pain. Under these circumstances, desolate Jeeves approached the Almighty and prayed for freedom. Seeing the plight of His devotee, who is none other than a fragment of His own, the Lird angered at the poison of ignorance, ordered, Dont climb up. Beware your ascent Get down immediately. At the wrath of God, the poison of ignorance surrendered to God, retreated in mortal fear. The poison of ignorance increase the crass craving of daily life. Drags Down the man and consumes him. Hence his poison should not climb up. If it progress, man degenerates to his own destruction. So, Baba first arrested the poisons ascent by commanding, Dont climb up Beware your ascent. This command means, o poison of ignorance, Thou shalt not progress anymore in my devotees. If you progress further, beware of consequences. Henceforth, the Lord commanded, Get down immediately. In this manner, Almighty SAI banished the poison of ignorance from his own fragment Shyama totally. Thus blessed the devotee by granting him the abode of at atma. Through Kaka Saheb Dixit, Baba advices Shyama not to sleep in the night of ignorance, to keep awake by walking to and fro. This means to continuously practice spiritual exercises without being lax. If one practices in this manner, he need not follow the discipline of food meaning one need not then follow the obligatory tasks of human life. Babas Lelas are replete with vedantic import. In order to fully understand these, man should be recipient of abundant grace of the Lord. Om Sri Sai Kamal Kaalaaya Namah On the 19 January 1913, Khapardes friends tried to wake him up for the afternoon era this. In spite of their multitudinous he would not get up. One man ran to Baba to report the matter assuming him to be dead. Baba smiled and said, How can you wake him up I will wake him up. Do not be afraid. As Baba said this, Khaparde got up there and came to arathi What happened to you. They asked him. He said,I do not know what happened to me, Baba knows everything. Everyone turned to Baba and Baba smiled like an innocent child and looked as if to say, What do I know. Baba was such an embodiment of love and humility. .......................................... Once Purandhre suffered from pain on the hip and rheumatism. Doctors tried all possible remedies, but were futile. He became very week and was bedridden. Every one felt that his end was nearing. At this time he saw soldiers of the Yama the God of (Censored) in his dream. Immediately Baba came and sat on his bed.. Keeping his on his lap He ordered the soldiers to leave. Later Purandhre became healthy. Later he served as assistant treasurer in the Sai Sansthan. He rendered his duties satisfactorily and was blessed in Sai Seva. "........................... One afternoon, a Lamb came near Masjid. Unable to bear the heat, it swooned and fell dead. Baba who was the embodiment of Compassion and Love, came out of the Masjid, walked around it and sprinkled some water on it. Immediately the lamb got up and jumped around happily forgetting the pain. Later Baba came back and sat down as if He knew nothing about what had occurred. Watching this wonder, people realized that Baba was not an ordinary Fakir but truly Lord of all and Paramatma. With the SATKA in His hand He began to hit whatever He could. No one had the guts to watch Him in this form. Some people even ran away. He was like Lord Shiva who got angry on Yama whirl protecting Markandeya. Baba appeared like PRALAYA Rudra. SeeingBaba,s rage everyone began to shiver. Baba came out of theChavadi, He acted as if He pulled something out of th ether and caught it in His fist. He rushed to Malan bai,s house, approached the dead body and opened His fist. Immediately, Malan Bai sat up alive. Seeing this great incident everyones eyes watered. Everybody cried out in unison, Sri SatChitAnand SatGuru Sri SaiNath MahaRaj ki Jai. As if He knew nothing, He smiled calmly and walked towards Dwarkamayi. Later everyone questioned MalanBai,what happened She replied, Some dark skinned people took me up in the sky. I was scared seeing them and screamed,Baba. Listening to my call my Divine Father, Lord Sai came in furious form saying, Child, I am coming. Dont be afraid. He beat the men and holding me tight in His hands, left me here. Everyone shed tears of JOY on experiencing Babas Love. Their hearts rejoiced.
