Sometimes,when we pray for something to happen and it does not happen,we get upset with Baba. But we find many yimes that Baba was actually protecting us from bad things and he had something betterfor us. I hzve also found that sometimes,when our prayers are answered,actually,it was not good for us. So the best action for us is to surrender to Him unconditionally.Hr willdo what is best for us.So please trust him and don't lose your faith.

Om Sri Sai Bhaktaabhya Pradaaye Namah Shyama was very close companion of Baba He was stung by a snake on the little toe. It pained a lot. All his friends and relatives dreaded (Censored). Shyama too, felt thatHe was bound to die. His friends and relatives wanted to take him to Lord Vittoba. Snakes bites were cured there. Realizing their plan, Shyama said, Do not take me anywhere. Baba is my Vittal. Baba is my everything . Kindly take me to my Baba. Even if I have to die, I will die in His proximity. That alone gives me happiness. His friends agreed and took him to Masjid. As Shyamabegan to limb the steps of the Masjid, Baba came in front of him furious, Oh vile priest do not climb up. Beware if you do so. Get down immediately and soon getaway. He roared. Seeing his God Baba red with wrath, Shyama was greatly puzzled and squatted to a side with fear. Within few seconds Baba became calm. He lovingly came to Shyama, sat near him and fondled him saying, Shyama, do not be afraid. This Fakir is full of Mercy. He will surely protect you. Have faith is ME and be fearless. He said and sent Shyama home along with few people. With Baba,s utterance of words of fearlessness, the pain subsided. Later Baba called Thatya Patil and Kakasaheb Dixit and said, Tell Shyama to move around in the house without sitting in one place. Also tall him that there are no diet restrictions and that he should not sleep in at night. Tell him to follow these. I shall take care of the rest. Tell him to be fearless. Needless to say, these instructions were followed and Shyama became well in a short time. The inner meaning of this Leela is The snake of philistinism stung a Jeeves Consequently, the poison of ignorance entered into the jeevaand started causing pain. Under these circumstances, the desolate Jeeves approached the Almighty and prayed for freedom from pain. Seeing the plight of His devotee, Whois none other than a fragment of his own, theLord angered at the poison of ignorance, ordered, Dont climb up Beware your ascent. Get down immediately and Get out. At the wrath of God the poison of ignorance surrendering to God, retreated in mortal fear. The poison ignorance increases the crass if craving of daily life, drags down the man and consumes him. Hence this poison should not climb up or progress. If it progresses, man degenerates to his own destruction. So Baba first arrested the poisons ascent by commanding, Dont climb up. beware your ascent This command means, O poison of ignorance Thou shalt not progress in my devotee. In this manner, the Almighty Sai banishedthe poison of ignorance from His own fragment I e., his devotee totally. Thence blessed the devotee by granting him the abode of Athma. Through Kaka Saheb Dixit, Baba advised a Shyama not to sleep the night of ignorance, to keep awake by walking to and fro. This means to continuously practice spiritual exercises without being lax. If one practices in this manner, he need not follow the diet etc. one neednt follow the obligatory tasks of human life. Babas Lelas are replete with Vedantic import. In order to fully understand these, man should be the recipient of abundant grace of the lord. In this manner, Baba protected Shyama from the poison of the snake and His devotees from the poison of ignorance.
