Sath-Guru (Sadhguru) a.k.a Perfect Masters - their basic qualities

In Hinduism, a Sat-guru (or perfect master) is considered to be an enlightened spiritual teacher who has realized the ultimate truth and can guide others on the path to self-realization. The qualities of a Sat-guru are described as follows:

  1. Knowledge: A Sat-guru possesses deep knowledge of the scriptures, philosophy, and spiritual practices of Hinduism, as well as an understanding of the nature of the self and the universe.
  2. Wisdom: A Sat-guru has wisdom that comes from direct realization of the ultimate truth, which allows them to guide their students effectively on their spiritual journey.
  3. Compassion: A Sat-guru is characterized by compassion for all living beings and a desire to help others attain liberation and self-realization.
  4. Humility: A Sat-guru is humble and does not seek fame or material gain, but rather focuses on serving their students and helping them realize their own potential.
  5. Authenticity: A Sat-guru embodies the teachings they share and leads by example, demonstrating the principles of spiritual practice in their own lives.
  6. Integrity: A Sat-guru is honest and trustworthy, upholding ethical standards and living a life that is consistent with their teachings.
