Punyathti is celebrated to honor the life of Shree Sai Baba of Shirdi each year on Vijayadashmi day which also happens to be the day of Baba's Mahasamadhi and the festival of Dasherra. After the inauguration, this was the first major event in the Temple. View some pictures from the event below.
